A recent study by the Wine Market Council shows that young people are much more comfortable with wine than their older "Baby Boomers".

study based on responses to questionnaires about 2000 consumers ranked in three demographic segments:

1. Boomers (41-59 years in 2006)
2. Generation X (29-40)
3. Millennias (18-28)

All three groups drink more wine than two years ago but the younger group (Millennias) has a growth rate higher than the other two, compared to +39% +30% della Generation X e al + 8% dei Boomers.
